Well, in the way of good work I have done the following: Collected some graphics I can use as a base to make my own graphic with, drawn out what I would like the front page layouts to look like, and got my roll of film finished :) Now time to process, Snapfish here I come!

If you come across this journal and would like to be a part of it, please reply to this post so I know who to contact.
On Friday, July 18th, 2003 the online community of the Ametrine Moon in created. This is not solely to be a LiveJournal Community, but will eventually expand to a full community with web pages, chat rooms, profiles, discussions, articles, and the like. The subject? Paganism Today. Living Pagan, raising children Pagan, facing prejudices against Pagans. The one part that is missing from every book ever written, and other religions enjoy without end. A sense of community and belonging. My name is Lady Aviha and I wish to see the Ametrine Moon grow from this day forward until we are an authoritative source of knowledge and advice for Pagans and non-Pagans seeking to know.

Now here comes the tricky part. To make a web page, one needs content. If you are moved to write on your experiences in Paganism and would like to share with other Pagans, please e-mail me your articles with your name as you would like it to appear on the site and a short bio if you would like to apply for a column. "Feature" (one-time) authors may submit a bio if they like, but it is not necessary. Artwork would also be greatly appreciated. Full credits will be given, of course. Apply if you would like to appear in the comics area regularly, too. Also, if you have a Pagan-Oriented shop, feel free to send me a link, I would like to also include a virtu-mall in the site. If it is a not-online store, I would be happy to create for you an Ad with pictures, the name, address, phone number of the store, and e-mail if you have one (fee of $10 would apply for this, it's my lively hood). Finally if you wish to remain anonymous, just reply to this post with what you would like submitted for the web page.

Last but certainly not least, I am but a part time grocery store worker who occasionally does computer work for pay per job fees. I am broke, so broke I am going to live with family while I pay off the bills I have accumulated in my first voyage out in to the world. I am not asking for much. I have two cats I have rescued from the streets, Twinkle, and Captain. They both need to go to the vet and have food and toys and litter and the occasional can of chunk light for very good kitties or to talk them down off the bookcase. I will eventually get a donation page up on the site, with pictures of the kitties. Please consider donating cash, petfooddirect.com certificates, or if you are a vet in Connecticut or Southern Massachusetts a kitty check up and shots. Four times now I have gone without food so I could get them some food or litter. If you want to donate money to my bills, that would be wonderful (I am aprox. $13,000 in debt), but I know the kitties are cuter than I am. I have two gerbils too, but I buy one bag of food for them every month so feeding them is not expensive.

When the web page is ready to go live I will use a host that is free to start, and then when I can support the fees, I will get it a hosted domain of it's own. I will take advantage of the beginning months to collect materials and design the page.

Well, that is all I can think of to say for now. This is Lady Aviha signing off for the evening.
